OUR STORY

Cyber Valkyries was born out of a simple need: A sense of belonging.

When we first entered the world of cybersecurity, we were filled with excitement, but we immediately hit a wall. Older, experienced voices dominated most of the communities we found. Many were brilliant, but only a few felt approachable. For young girls just starting, the tone can be discouraging, even dismissive.

We often felt invisible. Conversations were filled with subtle elitism, making it difficult to ask even the simplest questions. Cyber Valkyries is a space built on empathy, not ego. A place where curiosity is welcomed, no matter your background or experience level.

Here, there are no "stupid questions.""
Because we've been there, and we know what it's like to feel small in a room full of experts. We're building a community that values kindness and patience. A place in cybersecurity where girls can finally feel at home.

Since its initial establishment in 2024, Cyber Valkyries has already empowered girls in cyber all across the globe. We've built a judgement-free community focused on learning and support, reached thousands of girls through our content, and even been recognized by international organizations, like icanhelp.

But we're not stopping there-- Cybervalkyries is ever growing, and still focused on it's mission of supporting the next generation of female changemakers and making cybersecurity a field accessible to all.
